i heard a reliable source that khia edgerton just died this morning (July 21)from a head injury sustained in a swimming pool accident at Good Samaritan Hospital in her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland.
Khia Edgerton,known known by her DJ name K-Swift, was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland on October 19,1980.
She began DJing at the age of 11; now 14 years later, she’s not only Baltimore’s only female DJ, but she’s also the only female Mix Show Coordinator in the country! Her desires to become a professional, well-known DJ were met with numerous obstacles.
Khia Edgerton was a respected member of the Baltimore hip hop community and made a name for herself as a radio DJ, club DJ and entrepreneur. She first rose to fame as the first female mix show coordinator, a position she held at Baltimore's 92Q Jams radio station.

Details of her death have yet to be released.
